Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Building Automation System Operator to join their Facilities Maintenance team in Andover, MA for a 1 year contract at one of the world's leading pharmaceutical manufacturers. This role will be fully on site Monday - Friday during 1st shift (7am - 3:30pm). The BAS Operator's primary responsibility is to monitor various building automation system computers to ensure that systems are automatically operating within specified parameters (temperature, humidity, static pressure, amps etc.). When systems are not operating correctly the operator must take a specific documented course of action to protect equipment, personnel and research. The operator should also monitor the BAS system for energy efficient operations. In addition to monitoring the building automation system the engineer typically monitors other site systems. These can include facilities specific systems such as fire monitoring and can also include others not traditionally considered. The engineer also assists electrical, mechanical and control system technicians in troubleshooting equipment problems.
