Building Automation Systems Engineer III - HVAC

Job Title: Systems Engineer III  

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and program a written sequence of operations based on mechanical drawings. Lead and schedule commissioning efforts Actively participate in LEED commissioning and coordination meetings Understand the design of mechanical equipment and systems. Chiller, Boiler, Custom AHU’s, Primary/Secondary pumping, Variable flow Chilled water plants, Clean Room Applications, Demand Response Design and implement complex electrical control circuits. Hardwired Interlocks and Relay logic Provide solutions for energy-saving opportunities and potential scopes of work for control implementation. Perform training for Systems Engineer I and II.

Job Specifications (incl. Education requirements, minimal experience, computer skills required, etc.) 

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably Electrical or Mechanical) or equivalent field experience. 10 + years of direct automation experience with control systems and programming required. Working knowledge of at least three HVAC controls systems (preferably Delta, JCI or Andover) Knowledge of mechanical systems Ability to interface with customers at a supervisory and management level. Engineering skills required include knowledge of electronics, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics and computer programming. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good computer skills, understanding of controls networking. A valid driver’s license is required.

Compensation Range:  $66.00 - $76.00 per hour
