Our client is seeking an experienced **Building Automation Systems Technician** to join our team. This role involves supporting the design, installation, programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance of building automation systems.
Job Title: **Building Automation Systems Technician**
Location: **Cambridge, MA**
Pay Range: **$40-44/hr.**
**What’s the Job?**
+ Assist in designing and implementing building automation, lighting controls, and video management platforms.
+ Ensure compliance with industry standards during installations.
+ Develop customized programs and scripts for automation systems.
+ Configure and integrate devices, sensors, and equipment.
+ Perform system diagnostics and troubleshoot issues.
+ Conduct periodic inspections, testing, and calibration.
+ Maintain detailed project documentation.
**What’s Needed?**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
+ Experience with control systems (e.g., pneumatics, Wattstopper, Siemens).
+ Understanding of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems in commercial buildings.
+ Proficient in programming and troubleshooting automation systems.
+ Knowledge of industry codes and standards.
+ Valid driver's license.
