Building Automations System Operator

In return, we'll help you build a career that you can feel passionate about. **Job Summary** A Building Automation System Operator is responsible for: maintaining the building environment, environmental monitoring systems and controls; performing maintenance functions; and recommending improvements. The individual in this role works with minimal supervisor on complex projects and handles work orders for facility equipment control issues in a highly regulated environment. **Essential Duties & Responsibilities:** + Maintain the building environment, environmental monitoring systems and controls. + Perform equipment maintenance functions associated with monitoring of a laboratory research environment. + Make recommendations to improve efficiency or operations. + Assist with the design of new facility heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) and other monitored systems. + Remediate routine/nonroutine work orders and facility equipment control issues. + Coordinator correspondence for corrective action preventative action (CAPA) issues for Good Laboratory Procedures (GLP) documentation of errors and deviations. + Remediate HVAC deviations and repairs encountered in the facility. + Other duties as assigned. **Job Qualifications** Education & Experience: + HS/GED/Associate's/Bachelor's degree with 2 or more years of relevant experience; contract research organization experience preferred. + Building control system experience required. + HVAC Certification required. + EPA Certified preferred. + Demonstrated ability to problem-solve, make decisions, work effectively independently and as part of a team. + Demonstrated knowledge of plant mechanical functions, STandar Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, GLPs and associated requirements. + Ability to communicate verbally and in writing at all levels inside and outside the organization. + Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite. + Computer skills, commensurate wit Essential Duties and Responsiblities, including the ability to learn a validated systems. + Ability to work extended hours beyond normal work schedule to include, but not liminted to evenings, weekends, extended shifts, and/or extra shifts; sometimes on short notice. + Ability to work under time constraints. + Ability to push, pull, lift 50lbs +. The pay range for this position is $28-35/hour.
