Building Energy Manager

With opportunities for growth, competitive benefits, and a supportive community of colleagues, St. Luke’s is truly a great place to work. **What You Can Expect:** + The Building Energy Manager has system responsibility for researching, developing and maintaining facility energy management programs to reduce the use of nonrenewable resources and minimize the environmental impact of operations. This role serves as the primary point of contact on energy related design and operational performance for building systems for facilities. + Facilitates the identification and deployment of best practices for cross-functional areas to support organizational strategic objectives. + Serves as a member of the Communities of Practice system workgroups for HVAC operating systems. + Participates in the development of long-range plans which support the system's philosophy, strategic directive, and general objectives. Establishes written policies, goals, targets, priorities and timelines for implementation, as required. + Establishes energy benchmark framework to include utility consumption and cost analysis through Energy Star and/or EUI (energy use intensity) platform. + Leads the building energy modeling for new facilities and selective remodels / retrofits in collaboration with internal stakeholders. Provides design expertise to inform the implementation of construction activities and may oversee implementation activities as appropriate for select projects. + Oversees the standardization / implementation of building commissioning program for new infrastructure development and retro-commissioning on existing facilities. Works closely with industry professional consultants on energy modelling and commissioning. + Develops and maintains a system standardization platform for HVAC design and building automation control systems to support existing facilities and new infrastructure development. + Oversees and maintains systems for energy conservation to work in harmony with regulatory and accreditation requirements. + Develops and maintains the playbook on energy savings initiatives. + Collaborates with utility companies on energy conservation incentive and rebate programs. + Interfaces with facility support teams and provide routine communications with stakeholders. Monitors and facilitates progress of energy programs consistent with strategies, goals, measurements, and reporting standards. + Represents St Luke's at energy conferences and other targeted industrial events. + Resolves complex problems using advance knowledge gained through extensive work experience. + Performs other duties as assigned. **Qualifications:** + Education: Bachelors degree + Experience: 6 years relevant experience **Preferred Experience:** + Energy managment of multiple buildings, energy modeling, experience with Energy Star Portfolio Manager and/or SkySpark, building automation *Competitive rates offered based on experience. **What’s in it for you** At St. Luke’s, caring for people in the communities we serve is our mission – and this includes our own SLHS team.
