Building Engineer
**Building Engineer $32 - 40/hr** **Job Description** - Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing boiler systems within the hospital. - Troubleshoot air compressors, boilers, generators, vacuum pumps, and pumping distribution systems. - Operate water boilers, chillers, steam generators, and fill in for stationary engineers when they are out. - Knowledge of chemicals when working with boilers. - Installation of HVAC equipment and troubleshooting. - Work with hospital staff and communicate clearly regarding equipment troubleshooting/repairs. **Hard Skills** + Stationary Engineer + Maintains Boilers and Generators + Hospital Experience **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Hammond, IN. **Work Environment** Environment - Hospital setting with indoor and outdoor responsibilities. The hospital is very clean and temperature regulated when inside, with good lighting. Work primarily involves boiler operations. Work uniform will be provided.
