**Job Title: Building Engineer**
**Job Description**
We are seeking an experienced Building Engineer with experience in multi-tenant office buildings and water source heat pumps. The ideal candidate will possess general maintenance experience and be able to utilize a variety of trade skills to perform preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, equipment, and grounds. Working under limited supervision, this role involves carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating, and cooling tasks.
**Responsibilities**
+ Oversee and inspect the work performed by outside contractors, including landscaping, snow removal, remodeling, HVAC, plumbing, and cleaning.
+ Perform assigned repairs, emergency, and preventive maintenance tasks.
+ Complete maintenance and repair records as required.
+ Maintain the building lighting system, including element and ballast repairs.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in a multi-tenant office building environment.
+ Water source heat pump experience.
+ General maintenance experience.
+ Skills in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating, and cooling.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Mechanical aptitude and general maintenance skillset.
+ General HVAC experience.
+ Ability to perform various tasks related to electrical, mechanical, HVAC, painting, plumbing, and carpentry.

**Work Environment**
Work in multi-tenant retail and small office properties. Standard hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Wilmington, Delaware.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $37.00
