Description
Hiring a building engineer to perform repairs, maintenance and servicing of building facilities as well as mechanical, electrical and heating and air systems. This position will require knowledge and experience with industrial equipment (boilers, chillers, generators, pumps, cooling towers, etc.), as well as general building and facilities maintenance, in such settings as hospitals, schools, commercial buildings and/or high-density residential buildings such as apartment complexes, dorms or hotels.Other duties can include changing lighting/ballast, patching up drywall, painting, general repair and preventative maintenance. Experience in HVAC systems is a plus, including working with pumps, motors, boilers, refrigerators, etc., but is not required for this position. Must be comfortable with basic hand and power tools and working in a hospital environment.Additional Skills & Qualifications
4-5 years of facilities/building maintenance experience in hospital, school, commercial or high-density residential setting.
3+ years of equipment maintenance, troubleshooting and repair (HVAC, plumbing, boilers, condensers, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, pumps, etc.)
Experience with hand and power tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, saws, grinders, etc.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00
