**Building Engineer**
We are hiring building engineers for several clients in the St. Louis metro area. All positions are full-time, first shift, permanent career opportunities.
Building engineers are responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of commercial real estate in the St. Louis region (St. Louis County, St. Charles County, East St. Louis). They will inspect building components and systems, perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and resolve work orders while providing a high level of customer service.
These are first shift, Monday through Friday positions.
**Responsibilities**
+ Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, building automation or energy management systems, door hardware, and basic construction principles.
+ HVAC troubleshooting including heat pumps, chillers, boilers, RTUs, VAVs, heat exchangers, pumps, etc.
+ Perform plumbing repairs and troubleshooting, including copper and PVC pipe repair and replacement.
+ Collaborate with subcontractors and vendors as needed.
+ Respond to and complete tenant service work order requests regarding lighting, plumbing, heating, cooling, and other building problems.
+ Diagnose and perform minor and routine maintenance/repair tasks daily.
+ Identify all utility meter cut-offs, fixture cut-offs, sewer cleanouts, and prepare maps indicating the same.

**Additional Qualifications**
+ Trade or technical degree and/or certification a huge advantage
+ 2-4 years experience preferred
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $72800.00
