Building Engineer
**Job Title: Building Engineer** **Duration: 3+ months** **Location: Atlanta, GA** **Pay rate: $31/hr** **We are looking for a** **Building** **Engineer to join one of our Fortune 500 clients.** **Responsibilities:** + Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on buildings, equipment, and grounds. + Monitor building systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire alarms) to ensure optimal performance. + Use trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and HVAC maintenance. + Comply with all safety codes and regulations. + Inspect, oversee, and coordinate work by outside contractors (e.g., landscaping, snow removal, plumbing, HVAC). + Complete repairs, maintenance, and work order records. + Estimate time and materials for repairs; order supplies as needed. + Maintain energy management programs to optimize efficiency. + Handle lighting system repairs, furniture assembly, locksmith tasks, and welding as needed. + Respond promptly to emergencies and provide assistance when required. + Provide informal training or technical guidance to coworkers as needed. **Qualifications:** + High school diploma or GED. + 2–3 years of experience, with a strong focus on commercial HVAC systems. + Universal CFC certification required; Universal EPA license preferred. + Additional certifications in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or related trades are a plus. + Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and work order systems. **Skills:** + Ability to interpret instructions and write routine reports. + Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. + Ability to respond to client and coworker inquiries professionally. + Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and climbing stairs/ladders. **We are looking for the candidate who are eligible to work with any employers without sponsorship.** If you’re interested, please click **“Apply”** button.
