Pay Salary: $75,000 - $80,000
The Building Engineer addresses and resolves a tenant/customer's concern regarding the building or their space.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Experience working in a Commercial office environment diagnosing, troubleshooting an repairing HVAC Systems (RTU's, Air handlers, VAV's, Split Systems, Compressors, Generators)
+ Perform the maintenance, repair, operation, and general upkeep of the property.
+ Respond to tenant/customer requests with strong customer service skills.
+ Administer preventative maintenance on building systems and components.
+ Work closely with Chief Engineer and other Engineers/Maintenance Technicians to assist as necessary.
+ Walk and monitor all full-service suites and common areas on a regular basis.
+ Report maintenance issues to maintenance supervisor for appropriate delegation.
+ Inspect vacant suites weekly.
+ Escort contractors into secure areas/roof and open suite or office doors for contractors.
+ Put fire alarm panels on test when needed.
+ Ensures the cleanliness and marketability of the property.
+ Perform regular checks on generators and fire pumps.
+ Perform basic plumbing on toilets and sinks.
+ Perform general maintenance repairs as needed, as directed by the Chief or Lead Engineer.
+ May require on call or after hour duties.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
+ Minimum 5 years of experience in a commercial Class A Office or Industrial property.
+ BAS, EMS experience required.
+ Minimum 2 years of related formal training from technical school, 2-5 years experience in the maintenance trade (electrical, mechanical, plumbing, etc.).
+ LICENSES and/or CERTIFICATIONS Must have a valid driver's license with insurance if driving is required for the position. CFC license is required.
+ SHIFT: Mon-Fri
