CBRE GWS delivers consistent, measurably superior outcomes for our clients at every stage of the lifecycle, and across industries and geographies. + Sign-on Bonus of $2,000 is available to qualified applicants + Annual performance bonus (up to 5% ) **ABOUT THE ROLE** Performs general preventive maintenance and corrective repair of commercial kitchen equipment, buildings, industrial systems, equipment and grounds. Working under close supervision, assists in monitoring building system operations and performance. Uses several trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating and cooling. + Perform refrigerant repairs and replacement for kitchen equipment + Perform rooftop HVAC refrigerant leaks/repairs **WHAT YOU’LL DO** + Performs assigned day-to-day repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance. + Completes maintenance and repair records as required. + Reviews assigned work orders. + Estimates time and materials needed to complete repair. + Orders vital materials and supplies to finish the tasks. + Assists with installation and modification of building equipment systems. + Assists with solving and repairs of buildings and installed systems to include: plumbing systems, kitchen equipment (including walk-in coolers, ovens, ice machines, grills, steam tables, etc.), roofs, drains, shop, and HVAC/R. + Inspects new installation for compliance with building codes and safety regulations. + Maintains lighting systems throughout the facility, cleaning fixtures and replacing bulbs and lamps. + Maintains grounds of facility or property performing such tasks as raking, sweeping, leaf blowing or snow removal. + Performs welding, carpentry, furniture assembly and locksmith tasks as needed. + Responds quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed. **WHAT YOU’LL NEED** Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future. + High school diploma or general education degree (GED) + Minimum of two (2) years of Kitchen/Refrigeration and HVAC maintenance experience + Universal CFC or EPA 608 certification required. + Possess and maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record with periodic checks **OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES** Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information. Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset. Sophisticated math skills. The salary range is $45 - $50 per hour. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience.
