One position for an hourly Buildings and Grounds Specialist within Maintenance A Crew is now open at the Natchitoches EWP mill. The qualified candidate would have previous trade or handyman experience. This role would be responsible for solving basic electrical and plumbing issues, as well as ensuring interior and exterior structural component are safe and in good condition. The wage for this role is $26.00 per hour. *Key Functions:* * Perform basic repairs (wall damage, broken windows, etc.). * Complete general maintenance work. * Update and replace drywall/sheetrock as needed. * Update and replace trim, carpentry, or exterior structural components as needed. * Move heavy furniture, appliances, and/or equipment. * Install tile, carpet, or other flooring. * Perform basic electrical and plumbing maintenance. * Assist trades with advanced electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repair work. * Take on other installation, repair, and maintenance duties as needed. * Safely use common power and hand tools. * Other duties as assigned. * An updated resume must be uploaded to be considered for this position. * Two years’ experience as a facility handyman. * Forklift experience and certification. * Ability to handle multiple projects safely and effectively. * Initiative to identify and resolve issues. * Must be willing to work five days a week, eight (8) hours a day as operating conditions require. * Willing and able to work at heights, in confined spaces, climb stairs, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in an industrial environment containing wood dust and extreme heat and cold. *About Wood Products* We've been delivering quality building products and solutions to our customers for more than 100 years.
