Position Title: BIM Coordinator Location: Taylor, Texas (This is an in-office position) Position Overview: The BIM Coordinator will play a pivotal role in our projects, leveraging expertise in mechanical piping drawing and Building Information Modeling (BIM) to ensure seamless coordination and execution. This role is ideal for a proactive individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and can independently manage drawing reviews, redlines, and coordination with BIM designers. Key Responsibilities: + Detailing and designing industrial piping systems with precision and adherence to project specifications. + Utilizing software tools such as AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Revit, and Navisworks to create and review shop drawings. + Conducting quality control (QC) checks on drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance. + Collaborating with project teams to address design challenges and implement effective solutions. + Managing multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones. Qualifications: + Proven experience in detailing or designing industrial piping systems. + Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Revit, and Navisworks. + Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. + Excellent listening, oral, and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely. + Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges. + Ability to multitask under pressure and prioritize competing priorities effectively. + Self-starter with superior organizational and time management skills, capable of working independently with minimal supervision. + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
