Job Description Insight Global is immediatley hiring a Building Inspector for one of our Engineering and Construction services customers in Homestead, FL. The initial 4 months of this high voltage bus system project with MDC will require this person to support civil site inspection work, foundation and concrete related. After the initial site inspection support, the core function of this role is Building Inspection. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of building codes, construction practices, and regulatory compliance, with a focus on commercial construction. Skills and Requirements Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in building inspection, with a focus on commercial projects. In-depth knowledge of Building codes: Comprehensive understanding of local, state, and federal building codes and regulations. Proven ability to interpret and apply building codes to ensure compliance Proven succuss working in a team environment; has worked with other contractors, subs, material inspection teams on projects for county and/or commercial Building constuction jobs Associates or bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
