**Overview** The Light Maintenance position is responsible for general maintenance of the facility and of the facility grounds, sidewalks, snow removal. Performs work involving the use of large and small equipment and performs routine manual labor involved in maintenance. Assigned responsibility for the care and maintenance of designated tasks or areas of the hospital and other off site clinics and does related work as required. **Responsibilities Job Description** + Installation of blood pressure cuffs, bulletin and grease boards, shelving, plant hangers, coat hooks, dispensers of all kinds and corner guards + Replace and repair various other tasks such as: keyboard trays, hang mirror and pictures, replace casters (chairs and IV poles), chairs, sleeper chairs, wood side chairs, and shower and towel bars. Patch and paint walls, remove wallpaper. + Performs many other tasks such as: assemble furniture and deliver, safety check wall rails, minor re-configuration of modular furniture, shower and towel bars, and repair of housekeeping equipment + Assist in snow removal and grounds maintenance + Understands and follows safety procedures specifically related to job duties.
