**Position** : Building Maintenance Associate

The Building Maintenance Associate will assist in the completion of the day-to-day activities, involving the maintenance of the building/facilities, equipment, and machinery including HVAC, building lighting systems, plumbing, grounds keeping, security, and overall facility appearance.
**ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Responsible for physical building maintenance and environmental well-being of FPCU locations.
+ Review and assist with ongoing projects with the Facilities Manager.
+ Ensure that all preventative maintenance for equipment is conducted as scheduled in each contract.
+ Ensure that services, as per vendor contract, is scheduled on a timely basis and carried out per the terms of the contract.
+ Ensure that employees have the proper equipment and working areas to be proficient in their jobs
+ Correct and resolve any safety concerns.
+ Responsible for installs, moves, repairs, and removal of equipment and utilities within the building.
+ Complete needed work such as painting, drywall, plumbing, and HVAC.
+ Act as liaison with third party contractors while they are onsite completing work.
+ Ability to work irregular schedules to accomplish some work that may be required to be completed when facilities are not in use.
+ A current and valid driver license is required. Position might require driving to post office or performing other basic driving duties.
**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:**
Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and manipulate heavy objects. Ability to travel to all branch locations. Basic computer skills. Preferred experience in space planning and minimum 2 years experience in facility operation. Ability to handle multiple projects at one time.
The pay range for this position is listed above. Our pay ranges are designed to allow for candidates with various levels of experience and skill to be considered, and to allow room for growth to be achieved in a role over time. Generally, new hire salary offers fall within the minimum to midpoint of a pay range for many candidates. Any offer extended to a candidate will be based upon their individual combination of experience, knowledge, skills, and education as well as internal equity.
