**Job Title: Building Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** This candidate will be driving 500-2000 miles a week to commercial outlet stores within the region to perform and complete work orders for maintenance. The maintenance tasks include painting, plumbing, electrical work, masonry, cleaning, welding, drywall, and working with locks. The candidate must have excellent communication skills to interact with customers and be technically proficient to complete work orders. The candidate will primarily work alone but can call for help on specific projects. **Responsibilities** + Drive 500-2000 miles a week to commercial outlet stores to perform maintenance tasks. + Complete work orders for painting, plumbing, electrical work, masonry, cleaning, welding, drywall, and locks. + Communicate effectively with customers and store managers. + Work independently and call for assistance on specific projects as needed. + Use an app to log hours, document work, and communicate via the internal system. **Essential Skills** + Experience with commercial electrical work including low voltage troubleshooting, changing breakers, new circuits, soldering, outlets, light switches, and water heaters. + Experience with residential and commercial plumbing including drain cleaning, and changing toilets, sinks, and faucets. + Proficiency in painting using touch-ups, hand brushes, and spray guns. + Experience with drywall hanging and finishing, including Level 5 finish capabilities. + Masonry skills including working with brick and stone. + Welding experience including MIG, Stick, and Spot welding. + Experience with residential and commercial pad locks and electrical locks. + Comfortable driving 500-2000 miles a week and having previous experience in a traveling position. + Proficiency in using an app to log hours and document work. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance. + Experience with various hand tools including angle grinders, tape measures, multimeters, channel locks, circular saws, drywall tools, crescent wrenches, sanders, impact drivers, speed squares, receptacle testers, needle nose pliers, socket/ratchet sets, reciprocating saws, drills/drivers, levels, non-contact voltage testers, lineman pliers, oscillating saws, and battery power tools. + Personal protective equipment including steel toes (recommended), mask, respirator, harness, goggles, and gloves (provided depending on the project). **Why Work Here?** Employees receive their own AMEX card to purchase parts or products for jobs and mileage reimbursement at 50 cents a mile. The role includes 10-20 hours a week of overtime. Training is provided for the first week (5 days). The typical day involves 50/50 inside and outside work, reaching 3-8 clients a day depending on the project, and communicating with store managers and supervisors. The candidate will be traveling 500-2000 miles a week, primarily working alone, and using an internal database to log hours, submit work orders, and review stops. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Marietta, GA **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
