**Job Title: Building Maintenance Technician (The Villages, FL)** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Technician to drive between 500-2000 miles a week to various Commercial Outlet Stores within the region to perform and complete maintenance work orders. The maintenance tasks include painting, plumbing, electrical, masonry, cleaning, welding, drywall, and working with locks. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently, though assistance can be called in for specific projects. **Responsibilities** + Drive between 500-2000 miles a week to various Commercial Outlet Stores within the region. + Perform maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, electrical work, masonry, cleaning, welding, drywall, and working with locks. + Communicate effectively with customers and store managers about the work being done. + Log hours, document work, and communicate via the internal system using the ADP app. + Work independently and call for assistance on specific projects if needed. **Essential Skills** + 5+ years of commercial electrical experience, including troubleshooting light poles, changing breakers, new circuits, soldering, outlets, light switches, and changing out water heaters. + 5+ years of residential/commercial plumbing experience, including drain cleaning, changing out toilets, sinks, and faucets. + Experience with painting, including touch-ups, hand brushes, and spray guns (5 Gallon Bucket Sprayer). + Experience with drywall hanging/finishing, Level 5 finish capabilities, and experience with stucco or EIFS. + Experience with masonry, including working with brick and stone. + Experience with MIG/Stick/Spot welding for gate hinges or fencing on properties. + Experience with residential/commercial pad locks or electrical locks. + Comfortable with driving 500-2000 miles a week in their own vehicle. + Comfortable with downloading and using the ADP app to log hours and document work. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Hand tools needed: Angle Grinder, Tape Measure, Multimeter, Channel Locks, Spare Batteries/Charger, Circular Saw, Drywall Tools, Claw/2-3 lbs Mini Sledge, Crescent Wrenches, Sander, Impact Driver, Speed Square, Receptacle Tester, Needle Nose, Socket/Ratchet Set, Saws, Reciprocating Saw, Drill/Driver, Levels, Non-contact Voltage Tester, Lineman Pliers, Oscillating Saw, Battery Power Tools. + PPE recommended: Steel Toes (Any Boot is Fine). Expect 10-20 hours of overtime per week. The first week includes five days of training. Work is typically split between 50% inside and 50% outside. The candidate will be reaching 3-8 clients a day depending on the project, working 90%-95% individually, and communicating with store managers about the work being done. The internal database is used to log hours, submit work orders, and review stops. The candidate will be driving their own vehicle. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
