Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties as assigned.
· Familiar with Microsoft Outlook and it’s programs.
· Able to communicate effectively with all customers
· Be able to organize your workload efficiently to meet all the customers’ needs.
· Must have a clean drivers license to move furniture and materials between buildings as part of your job duties.
· Availability to work overtime (both scheduled and emergency), after hours (early morning or late night), weekends and holidays as required.
· Able to lift 50 lbs. safely.
· You will be exposed to commercial mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
You will support the moves coordinator and site client space plannerCompletes preventive maintenance (PMs) as assigned including performing general maintenance and repairs. Assists senior mechanics with more complex tasks or major repairs/modifications. Other duties as assigned by management.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education & Experience
· High school diploma or general equivalency degree (GED).
Skills
· Knowledge and experience with hand tools
· Working knowledge and experience with one or more of the following facilities systems is preferred. Knowledge of pump jacks, forklifts, and other heavy moving equipment. Smaller architectural work will be expected.
· Ability to read and interpret basic layout drawings.
· Knowledge of standard and maintenance practices.
Language Skills
· Ability to write simple correspondence.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
· Attend all electrical safety courses offered and scheduled by management
· Attend all scheduled safety training offered and scheduled by management
