What You'll Do

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth maintenance and functionality of the BCG Milan office. Working closely with your Manager and the EMC (East Mediterranean and Caspian) Operations Director, you will oversee all building-related aspects, contributing to daily operations and strategic initiatives. Your responsibilities will include supervising external suppliers and managing various projects and initiatives to maintain and enhance the office environment.
You will also actively support the development and execution of the strategic building plan for 2026–2028, ensuring alignment with BCG's operational goals and vision.

 

YOU ARE GOOD AT: 

Coordinating supplier and building professional activities, including inspections, screenings, cost estimates, and on-site events.Supporting the implementation of long-term strategic plans related to building and real estate (2026/2028).Managing contracts and relationships with suppliers across various domains, such as cleaning, security, elevators, electrical and hydraulic systems, heating/conditioning, furniture, utilities, and general building improvements.Overseeing relationships with property owners and related stakeholders, excluding facilities management responsibilities.Collaborating on budget management related to building operations, alongside senior colleagues.Liaising with legal professionals to manage contracts associated with suppliers and building-related services.Coordinating building visits for guests, suppliers, and international colleagues.

 

The role will be focused on the activities listed above, but not limited to them.

 

 



What You'll Bring

Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering;Previous relevant experience (ideally 2 years), ideally in corporate settings or architecture/engineering firms with exposure to high-profile projects and strong connections to large companies.Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, in Italian and English; Advanced proficiency with MS Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook);Strong organizational and coordination skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving;Ability to collaborate within a team while taking ownership of individual responsibilities;Flexibility, adaptability, and a readiness to take initiative and act independently in dynamic situations.

Who You'll Work With

Our business management and operations team members work to ensure that BCG is running smoothly, efficiently, and productively. We are made up of executive and administrative (or case team) assistants, visual service artists, receptionists, facilities staff, and the team leaders and office coordinators who manage these operations and business management jobs.
