The Building Operations team is responsible for the care and upkeep of our office spaces in Vancouver. We respond quickly to incoming repair requests, while we implement strategies to get ahead of and prepare for tomorrow’s requests. This is a team of agile problem solvers, who are able to pivot quickly, and thrive in uncertain environments. We work hard, and we get things done.
A day in a life
Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the Building Operator is responsible for leveraging their repairs & maintenance experience to support our offices. This role is responsible for the efficient execution of emergency and non-emergency repairs and service calls within established budgets and timelines.
Respond to all repair & maintenance questionsAnalyze proposals to ensure cost and scope meets the needed scope of repairUse previous experience and mechanical aptitude to validate troubleshooting and diagnoses performed by on-site techniciansEnsure repair timeline SLAs are metExecute maintenance programs per established frequenciesProcess and submit weekly invoicesQualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in facilities maintenanceWorking knowledge of office environmentBasic knowledge in systems such as HVAC, Electrical, PlumbingVersatile with capacity and capabilities to manage multiple projectsPossess organizational, time management, and trouble-shooting competenceAgile and able to prioritize and re-prioritize daily or throughout the day as needs changeSuperb communication skills – verbal and writtenProficient in MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams

Compensation and Benefits Package
lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $66,000-86,000 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
