Building Renovation Project Manager

What this job involves: The Building Renovation Project Manager will be managing various project scopes in an assigned region, primarily focusing on small works/small projects. The selected candidate will lead cross-functional teams, oversee multiple projects simultaneously, and ensure successful project delivery while meeting established goals. The position requires a focus on project-specific needs, client initiatives, and continuous process improvement.  Travel will be required within an assigned region.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

Managing multiple renovation and building infrastructure projects across a large geographic areaLeading cross-functional teams of design professionals, general contractors, and speciality contractorsTracking and reporting project financials, milestone schedules, and status updatesOverseeing projects from initiation through design, planning, construction, and financial closeoutDeveloping risk management plans and guiding teams through work authorization processesPreparing accurate project documentation and reports for all construction phasesParticipating in client decision-making by providing data, recommendations, and risk assessmentsManaging vendors to ensure compliance with project policies and proceduresUtilizing Corrigo for project management

Desired experience and technical skills:

Requirements:

Minimum 3-5 years of project management experience in design and constructionExperience with project scope development, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and contract negotiationsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, project scheduling software, and web-based applicationsFamiliarity with architectural drawings, furniture, fixtures, and equipment, design and space planning conceptsStrong interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skillsProven record of excellent internal and external customer service

Preferred:

Architecture, Engineering, or Project Management certificationPMP Certification

Location:

On-site –Kansas City, MO
