Job Details:

Job Description: This position is responsible for overseeing and/or performing a wide variety of skilled and semi-skilled building maintenance and repairs, and landscaping tasks, while maintaining a safe work environment, and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Job Duties and Qualifications: Must perform painting, light construction and building repairs both inside and outside of the plant.

Must perform some landscaping duties.

Must be able to operate a forklift and/or pallet jack and obtain license in a timely manner. Must be able to operate a backhoe, tractor, bush hog, weed eater, and lawnmower for long periods of time.   

Must be able to work without direct supervision. Must be able to operate and service lawn mowers and garden equipment.

Must be willing to use the proper PPE when using chemicals.

Must be able to operate a high-pressure hose. Willing to complete Computer Based Training on Safety and Skills. 

Applicant must have a valid driver license or able to obtain one.

Unrestricted use of both hands and arms, walking climbing, sitting, stooping, and bending, work in all weather conditions, and must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more when required.
