Basic Job Functions:

Responsible for daily servicing of the communal areas in the administration buildings including restrooms, break areas, and conference rooms. This will include maintaining and stocking restroom supplies, uniform organization, trash removal, and general cleaning. Additionally, this person will provide weekly service as needed to other areas throughout the facility. This position will include light grounds maintenance including trash pickup, weed pulling, sweeping and general landscape maintenance. This position will require the use of appropriate personal protective equipment for the task assigned. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications: General housekeeping skills Ability to lift boxes and stock supplies, recognize and mitigate potential hazards, and use cleaning supplies while using appropriate protective equipment. Willingness to learn and accept additional responsibilities.  Preferred Qualifications: Previous industrial janitorial experience.
