The Opportunity
Under the general guidance of the Maintenance Manager and work direction of the Lead Maintenance Mechanic, perform a variety of general maintenance and service responsibilities. Installs, maintains, repairs and fabricates building equipment and facilities. You will work onsite Wed-Sat 11 pm-7:30 am and report to the Facilities Manager.
Your Impact
Complete installations, troubleshooting, maintenance, calibration repairs/overhauls, and operates HVAC & R systems
Maintain and service all electrical equipment
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance and emergency repairs by the equipment and systems
Ensure compliance with CFC-related regulations
Operate computer workstations for monitoring and operational status of equipment and systems where applicable.
Maintain logs, necessary paperwork, and complete documentation. Document work activities completely through PM or CM work orders and electronic daily labor record. Work from work orders and PM checklists
Perform load surveys and necessary tests and take appropriate corrective action.
Work on energized, equipment using OSHA approved safety equipment and guidelines
Work with voltage and current of any level, AC or DC after completion of training
What you Bring
High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
Two years as a Facilities Maintenance Mechanic working on HVAC/R equipment
Universal Refrigerant Certification
Graduation from a recognized/accredited HVAC or Refrigeration trade school or community college
Recent experience operating centrifugal chillers (electrical) greater than 600 tons, Dual Fuel Boilers greater than 6 million btu's, air compressors, cooling towers. Operational and hands-on experience in the emergency/building electrical generators. Graduation from a recognized electrician trade school OR completion of a formal electrician apprentice program.
