The location is Regal Rexnord’s 111 W. Michigan Street building. There are 4 broad areas of responsibility for this position; Maintenance, Security, Contracted Building Services Administration and Mailroom Services. This position will direct a team of about 5 or 6 direct reports covering the 4 main areas of responsibility. In addition to this, this position will interface with management on matters related to these areas including working with Finance to monitor budgets.
The maintenance portion includes both periodic preventive maintenance procedures as well as specific work order requests. The work can range from office furniture repair, small painting projects, light carpentry, all the way up to planning and implementing contracts for roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry projects.
The security portion includes administration of the contracted security guard service, card access system, surveillance camera system, and maintaining physical security items such as gates, signs, locks, doors, and fencing.
The Contracted Building Services Administration portion includes oversight of any and all contracted services. This includes but is not limited to cleaning crew, food services, pest control, landscaping, parking lot management, office supplies, and waste management (trash, recycling, and e-waste management).
Mailroom services include sending/receiving/internal delivery of US Mail and UPS/Fedex/DHL parcels. The mailroom also is the point of entry for any freight deliveries. Heavy freight deliveries are very infrequent. Most freight deliveries are arranged to include loading and unloading by the freight company. The mailroom does not operate any forklifts or motorized material handling equipment.
Required Education / Experience / Skills:
