**Building Technician IV**
**Location:** Canton Crossing, Baltimore MD
**Overview:** We're looking for a **Building Technician IV** to take charge of day-to-day building operations, ensuring all systems are running smoothly while providing guidance to a team of technicians.
**What You’ll Do:**
+ **Lead & Support:** Oversee a team of Building Technicians (I, II, & III) and provide guidance on maintenance, repairs, and installations for commercial building systems.
+ **Hands-On Troubleshooting & Repairs:** Support the Chief Building Engineer by leading the charge in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining complex building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boilers, chillers, and more.
+ **Training & Development:** Mentor and train lower-level technicians, helping them gain expertise in building systems.
+ **Manage Budgets & Expenditures:** Review work orders, control expenditures within budget guidelines, and provide recommendations for capital expenditures to the Chief Building Technician.
+ **Maintain Building Systems:** Regularly inspect, calibrate, and test building systems to ensure optimal performance.
**Qualifications:**
**Education:** High school diploma or equivalent, with additional coursework in HVAC, electricity, plumbing, or related fields.
+ **Licensing & Certification:**
+ Universal CFC certification.
+ State Certified Journeyman’s license or equivalent (Master’s license preferred).
+ MD 1st grade stationary license (or equivalent, if required). **Technical Expertise:**
+ Strong knowledge of all building systems (HVAC, mechanical, electrical) and building automation systems (BMS/BAS, SCADA).
+ Ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and control complex building systems.
+ Proficiency in reading electrical, mechanical, and plumbing drawings and internal wiring schematics. **Skills:**
+ Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to adapt to new software and work with asset management systems.
+ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. **Experience:** Minimum of **7 years** in relevant building systems as a senior service technician with a minimum of with **2+ years** experience providing work direction to others, in a leadership or supervisory role.

Competitive pay ranging from $92k to $97k base salary (based on experience) PLUS stock, performance incentives and annual clearance bonuses (total comp package well into and above the $120s)
