Reliability, Maintenance, and Engineering (RME) is hiring for Building Wellness Managers!
The Reliability and Maintenance Engineering team plays a vital role in our operational success in the distribution aspect of the business. Seeking a Building Wellness Manager who will supervise, lead and support operations, inspect, and maintain processes to mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment and systems in assigned facilities. They perform inspections and repairs to assigned property interior and exterior areas, including walls and flooring, installed fixtures, roofing systems, lighting, etc. Senior Technical Leadership in buildings in which they maintain. Responsible for managing site controls and reliability engineers. Provide technical oversight to RME teams and bridge KPI misses for the site. They provide innovation support to their teams and assist with prioritization of network initiatives.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure work performed is accomplished efficiently with a minimum amount of disruption and inconvenienceSupervise and implement the preventative maintenance programSchedule preventative maintenance with a minimum disruption of building servicesPerform and/or delegate preventative maintenance tasks to the appropriately qualified maintenance staff memberOrder parts and equipment required for repairMaintain and install new equipment and facilities Provide training and supervision aimed at expanding the capabilities of the operations staffDemonstrate the proper use and care of tools and instrumentsGive hands on instruction in basic maintenance, safety, and trouble-shooting proceduresComply with departmental policy for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materialsMaintain a clean and safe workplaceRecommend and estimate facilities repairs and improvements for inclusion in the annual budgetMaintain and ensure availability of an adequate operating inventory of tools and suppliesPrepare and submit purchase order requests, develop sources for stock materials, and perform periodic checks for suppliesEnsure technical development of their teamsPrioritize metric objectives and bridge metric gapsOversee NPI and IOQ process for siteSupport breakdown events and assist with troubleshooting initiativesProvide oversight to MCM/PCA process and ensure direct reports are completing necessary mechanical and controls changes, in the building, before due datesBuild culture of proactive maintenance within the siteAudit program management of CSE and RE and develop improvement plansFoster a culture of safety first within technical teamsLift a minimum of 50 lbs. and ascend ladders up to 30 ft.Candidate must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years’ experience 5+ years of experience in general building repair and maintenance, plumbing, and electrical2+ years of experience in a lead or supervisory roleExperience with HVAC, fluid handling/pumping, fluid filtering, mechanical systems, welding, and electrical systems engineering and operationPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
