Job Summary

Provide the vocational/technical skills necessary to maintain company buildings and appurtenances at twelve different locations within a two-hour radius for approximately 35 buildings that are company owned.  An integral function consists of maintaining HVAC infrastructure, snow and ice removal, lawn cutting, landscaping, building repairs, maintenance, projects, record retention, and assist fleet department.

Duties and Responsibilities Determine and implement emergency and non-emergency repairs to company-owned property as required. Contact and meet with vendors for quotes, projects, and completion of capital work. Provide general preventive external/internal maintenance repairs and housekeeping functions. Assist with building requests received through online ticket request i.e., moving furniture, hanging pictures, replacing lightbulbs, etc. Perform snow plowing, snow removal and salt spreading required by weather conditions as well as cutting grass and landscaping. Coordinate, maintain, and store all company records for review and company retrieval; assist fleet department with vehicles to be retired for auction and receipt of new vehicles for replacement. Check fuel levels for ordering and recordkeeping. Oversee seasonal employees. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities General mechanical aptitude. Knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, and electrical practices and techniques. Assemble and manage record retention system on a company-wide basis. Be able to work with other team members. Basic computer knowledge (i.e., email, navigate internet, UGI ServiceNow ticket system). Education and Experience High School Diploma or Equivalent. Maintenance or Trade experience preferred, not necessary. Valid PA Driver’s License Works indoors and outdoors, at times exposed to adverse weather conditions; performs tasks requiring a considerable amount of physical effort. Ability to define emergency maintenance situations and render appropriate assistance.
