Buildings Manager

General Purpose:

The Buildings Manager will oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the Cobbs Creek Golf Campus facilities, including the TGR Learning Lab, Driving Range Building, Restaurant, Clubhouse, Golf House, Cart Barn, and Maintenance Building. This role ensures that all physical assets and systems (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical) are functioning optimally, and that the campus maintains high standards of cleanliness, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Pay Range: $55,000 - $60,000 per year

Essential Duties:

Manage daily building operations and maintenance, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other key systems. Coordinate exterior property maintenance, ensuring all areas are clean, safe, and in accordance with company standards. Oversee contracted services related to facility management (e.g., trash, elevator, boiler maintenance, window cleaning). Develop and manage preventive maintenance schedules to ensure long-term preservation of all campus buildings and equipment. Supervise and lead a small maintenance team, providing training, task delegation, and performance evaluations. Assist with budgeting for building maintenance, ensuring cost-effective management of resources. Conduct regular inspections of buildings and systems, addressing any issues or deficiencies immediately. Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal building codes and regulations. Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations during events and peak periods.

Education/Experience:

Associate degree or equivalent in facilities management, building systems, or a related field. Three to five years of experience in facilities management, including supervision of personnel and vendor management.

Physical Demands:

Frequently stands, walks, and sits; uses hands and arms; occasionally lifts 50 pounds.

Environment/Noise:

Works indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions. Exposure to moderate noise levels, moving mechanical parts, and occasional fumes.

Certificates/Licenses:

Relevant certifications in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or other building systems preferred.
