Bulk Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic Level II

**Position Purpose:**
This position is responsible for performing daily work assignments to maintain GMP standards, while following all company safety policies and general policies. This position is responsible for monitoring processing equipment, preventive maintenance, trouble shooting, repairing, replacing, and installation of all Bulk Manufacturing equipment as well as general building maintenance and repairs.
**Primary Responsibilities:**
+ Bulk Manufacturing equipment preventive maintenance & equipment calibration programs. General facilities maintenance.
+ Monitor & maintain processed water systems.
+ Establish & maintain productive relationships with contractors & vendors
+ Maintain parts and supplies inventory.
+ Identify and report potential safety issues. Look for and recommend opportunities for improvement. Attend and participate in Safety Committee, monthly area safety meetings, trainings & inspections. Maintain GMP’s & housekeeping standards.
**Education:**
+ High School Diploma or general education degree (GED), or trade school certificate
**Experience:**
+ 3 - 5 years building & equipment maintenance/repair experience including plumbing, pipe fitting, welding and basic electrical.
**Skills:**
+ Ability to communicate (verbally and written) in English. Ability to read, analyze and interpret general policies. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management and inter-department staff. Capable of working with peers and associates from other departments in a proactive and constructive manner.
+ Ability to read, comprehend equipment manuals and blueprints-schematics.
+ Ability to understand and follow training in department areas such as SOP’s, safety, conduct, etc.
+ Ability to apply all relevant policies in a consistent, timely and objective manner.
+ Planning / Organization - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities/deadlines. Uses time effectively.
+ Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner. Gathers and analyzes information skillfully. Develops alternative solutions including immediate corrective actions and recommend preventative measures.

+ PIT certified
+ Confined space certified
+ Work with minimal supervision
+ Develop & maintain productive relationships with vendors and contractors.
