PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

This position is accountable for the following end results:

Adherence to all safety rules, processes, and procedures, as safety is a condition of employment.Pre & Post vehicle check in-line with DVSA guidelines, and Air Products standards, which may change from time-to-timeLoading, unloading and all other activities associated with product management in-line with Distribution working instructions and procedures available via ‘RTL Knowledgebase app’.  Successful completion of all LearnEx and regulatory training as required.Maintain tachograph infringement level in-line with DVSA/Traffic commissioner expectations, and Air Products standards, whereby regular feedback, monitoring and coaching will be provided to ensure full compliance.Other expected requirements in-line with Bulk Driver Trade Union Recognition Agreement signed 8th August 2019, available on request via NNC or RTL Knowledgebase app or Air Products management/HR.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

LGV 1 license (HGV Class 1/C+E unrestricted)Proven tanker driving experience (Where required) and min three years consecutive driving experience operating the class of vehicle that will be operated at Air Products upon employmentValid (in date) ADR Training Certificate 2,3,8 minimum (refreshed every 5 years)Valid (in date) Driver's CPC Qualification Card (DQC) and evidence of current Periodic Training StatusProven track record of working within a safety-first environmentAble to work under own initiative with excellent communication skillsProven track record of ability to drive in a professional manner, and to achieve best in class performance relating to safety and efficiency monitored and supported by digital vehicle data
