Job Description
We have an opportunity for a Warehouse Operator position on 2nd Shift at our Eldridge, Iowa location. In this role, you will be responsible for operating the machine to process and cut plate parts into shape. Daily tasks will include operating a burn table and ensuring efficient production of quality parts.
ResponsibilitiesOperate the machine to process and cut plate parts into shape.Operate a burn table on a daily basis.Program and set up machines for parts creation.Ensure production of quality parts to customer specifications and efficient scrap utilization.Confirm work orders on the computer (SAP).Stage material for shipping.Operate a crane, forklift, or side loader to move skids of material or plate as needed.Carry/move packaging supplies and packaging skids as needed.Perform all other duties as assigned or as responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.Essential Skills1-3 years of experience in press brake programming, setup, and operation.Blueprint reading.Basic math skills.Basic computer skills and/or comfort using a computer.Plate processing experience preferred.Ability to pass physical requirements exam for vision, hearing, and mobility.Experience with CNC, laser, plasma torch, tape measure, and burner.Additional Skills & QualificationsForklift certification.Experience with machine programming and setup for parts creation.Experience in production of quality parts to customer specifications.Experience in efficient scrap utilization.Experience with work order confirmation on computer systems.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
You will work in a larger, more manufacturing-oriented environment rather than a traditional warehouse. The shop is well-lit and the team size is small, so you won't feel like just a number. The atmosphere is very dirty, so being comfortable in such conditions is essential.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.12/hr.
