Miller Brother Staffing is looking for Burner/Burner Table Operators for our valued client in Youngstown, Ohio. 

Pay $14.50/HR- $20/HR
Shift: 1st 6am - 4:30pm , 3rd 11pm-7:30am

Summary of Responsibilities: This position will be setting up, adjusting and operating the burn table to cut raw materials such as steel plates, structural, extrusions, etc. as assigned.

Specific Duties:

Work from verbal instructions, drawings, blueprints, sketches, bills of material, cutting lists, etc. Sets up, adjusts, and operates Multi-Torch, hand torch, and Oxygen-Acetylene flame cutting equipment. Uses drawings to determine how cuts should be made. May perform simple cleaning maintenance operations. Reports abnormal conditions of equipment to supervision. Observes all safety rules and regulations and keeps work area clean and orderly.

Job Requirements

Mechanically inclined Reliable/Dependable 1-year experience operating a programable oxy/fuel burn table a plus 1-year experience operating a programable plasma burn table a plus Experience reading blueprints a plus Able to read a tape measure. Strong mathematical aptitude. Open minded and willing to learn company process. Willingness to work any shift. Ability to follow instructions provided by supervisor. Burn 10, Edge Pro, or Messer Navigator burn table experience a plus.
