About First Student’s Bus Cleaner Position
At First Student, our Bus Cleaners clean our vehicles and perform light maintenance as necessary to buildings and grounds. As a Service Employee at First Student, your day will include the tasks mentioned above and the following:
Checking and filling the oil, antifreeze, power steering, transmission fluid, brake fluid, windshield washer fluid and belts on buses being fueledPerforming light interior and exterior maintenance on buses as requiredMaintaining accurate records and completing various fuel reportsPerforming other management requests or directivesBus Cleaners are subject to DOT drug testing as a safety-sensitive employee. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason.
