**Summary** **CHENEGA HEALTHCARE SERVICES, LLC.** Fort Irwin, CA The **Bus Driver** drives a bus to transport passengers over specified routes to local or distant points according to time schedule. **Responsibilities** + Comply with local traffic regulations and reports delays or accidents. + Inspect bus and checks gas, oil, and water before departure. + Service vehicle batteries as required. + Perform minor repairs such as tightening mirrors and screws, changing vehicle light bulbs. + Operate car/bus wash as required. + Operate generator as required and jump start buses as required. + May load and unload baggage or express items checked by passengers. + May drive diesel- or gas-powered vehicle to transport passengers over established post and city routes. + Operate water truck as required to include climbing on tank and lifting hose approximately three feet above one’s head. + Operate drivers training bus and train other personnel in bus operations. + Comply with all installation and State rules and regulations and ensures that seatbelts are worn when operating any vehicle. Attend all Safety Meetings and/or Training classes as scheduled. + Clean up oil spills and keep vehicle parking area clean of debris and oil. + Other duties as assigned. **Qualifications** + High School graduate or equivalent. + Minimum four (4) years' driving experience preferred. + Class “A” or Class “B” CDL. “P” endorsement required within 90 days of hire. **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities** + Ability to present a neat appearance. + Ability to present a pleasant attitude when dealing with customers and other employees. + Ability to pass a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) for computer access. **Physical Demands:** (The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
