Bus Monitor - IDEA Rise (Immediate Opening)

Role Mission: The Bus Monitor is responsible for ensuring the safety of students by providing supervisory monitoring of students during transportation to/from school and on trips.  Bus Monitors particularly ensure the safety of our youngest scholars (i.e. Pre-Kindergarten students) and special education scholars.

Compensation for this role is set at an hourly rate of $11.00This role is part-time

Qualifications:

Education: HS diplomaExperience working with students (preferred)

 

 

What You’ll Do – Accountabilities:

 

Provide a safe and orderly environment for students during transportation

 

Supervise students loading and unloading the bus/van and during transportation

 

Provide other support as requested, in order to ensure safe and efficient school operations at all times
