THE JOB:

The primary responsibility of the Bus Person at Carbone is to maintain the entire restaurant, including the dining room, storerooms, food pick up area, and beverage station according to established cleanliness and stock standards.

THE STARTING PAY: $13.76

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Work with servers to ensure proper guest servicePolish flatware, set up tables with appropriate silverware, glassware, linen, condiments, and accessories, fold napkins properly and ensure ashtrays are clean and available on tables in designated smoking areasClear, clean, and sanitize booth/chair cushions and tables completely, and reset with clean linens, ashtrays, votive candles, glassware, and any additional tabletop items neededRemove dirty dishes, debris, and linens from table and bring to the kitchen for proper washing and disposing of trash in designated receptaclesCoordinate table availability and constantly communicates with Server, Hostess, and Management to ensure tables are turned efficientlyServe water, coffee, and soft drinks, refilling when neededEnsure that dining room floors are clean and free of debris

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE:

Ability to work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

1+ years of prior relevant experience as a Bus Person or Food Runner in a fine dining high-volume establishmentExperience working in a similar resort setting
