Responsible for cleaning and resetting tables, monitoring tables for customer needs and duties requested by leadership personnel, in an efficient courteous manner displaying a high standard of customer services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

 

Responsible for clearing all tables, resetting them for new seating; ensuring tables are set in accordance with venue standards and customers achieving a pleasurable dining experience. Assist Food Servers as needed in serving the customers throughout their meal, observing the customers for any requests for service, clears all dishes from the table after customers are through eating, continually providing them with a clean, neat eating area. Maintains a cleanliness of all side stations; responsible for stocking. Maintain a good working relationship and provide daily detailed communications with the Food and Beverages Leaders and other co-workers in producing a smoothly and efficiently run operation. Assists other restaurant personnel with maintenance (side work, opening/closing duties) as necessary. Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

AGE and GAMING:

18 years of age or above

Gaming property – Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Choctaw Gaming Commission.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma or GED is preferred.

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required.  Must be Serv-Safe certified or become certified within thirty (30) days of starting work. 

 

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees and one on one.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two-step instructions.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

 

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the Associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

 

Essential responsibilities include moderate to heavy physical ability such as lift or maneuver at least fifty (50) pounds, and standing/walking 100% of the shift.  Perform position responsibilities and/or essential functions on slippery or wet surfaces.  Bending, stooping and stretching of arms during assigned shift.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

 

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an Associate encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

 

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.  When on the casino floor, the noise level increases to loud.  When on the casino floor or other designated areas may be subjected to tobacco smoke. 

Due to the unpredictable nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, Associates must be able to work varying-schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.
