**Job Description**
+ Have postsecondary experience teaching business, management, and marketing classes such as intro to Business, Small Business Management, Opportunity Analysis, Personal Finance, Legal Environment Business, Business Plan Development, Promotion and Advertising, and Sales Management.
+ Serve as director/coordinator of business program including planning, program review/assessment, student outreach/recruitment, and new curriculum/program development.
+ Serve as the advisor for business students toward degree completion, transfer, and employment.
+ Re-establish and lead the American Indian Business Leaders (AIL) student organization and other program-related student activities.
+ Maintain a program advisor committee and participate in professional organizations and field-related activities to ensure ongoing currency in the field.
+ Establish and;/or maintain relationships with employers, K-12 schools, and other organizations, particularly in tribal communities, that benefit the program, its students, and the community.
+ Participate in institutional planning and student success initiatives.
+ Be able to teach using a variety of delivery methodologies ranging from in-person to online to hybrid/blended courses and including the use of learning management systems.
+ Demonstrate and ability to work collaboratively in a multidimensional campus community, with special focus on American Indian students as well as students with a broad range of skill levels.
+ Exhibit a strong commitment to supporting diverse students through instruction, active participation in campus activities, and other college and state system-level initiatives.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Master's degree in business administration or business management; or
+ Master's degree with a minimum of 27 graduate quarter/18 semester credits in business administration and/or business management.
**Preferred Qualification**
+ Hands-on managerial or administrative experience in business.
+ Demonstrated knowledge of technology as it relates to business, management, and marketing in the workplace.
+ Postsecondary experience in teaching Business, Management and Marketing classes using a variety of delivery methodologies.
+ Prior teaching experience in a tribal and/or two-year postsecondary institution.
+ Demonstrated experience in curriculum development and assessment of student learning outcomes.
+ Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a student population encompassing a broad range of skills levels.
+ Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, including committee work.
+ Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
+ Online and hybrid/blended teaching experience, including the use of learning management systems and videoconferencing technology in the classroom.
**Salary Range**
**$51,303 - 71,893 Annual**
The above salary range is for initial placement only. If currently teaching within Minnesota State, current salary will remain the same.
