Business Acceptance Testing Manager

Job qualifications

■   Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent qualified work experience

■   5+ years of experience in business acceptance testing or quality assurance

■   Demonstrated experience in testing business applications and processes

■   Experience working with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment

■   Experience in financial services, legal, or professional services industry is preferred

■   Previous experience with business process testing and workflow validation

■   Experience in documenting test results and preparing test summary reports

■   Minimum  1-2 years supervisory experience is required with emphasis on remote / offshore management

■   Strong understanding of SDLC principles within an Agile methodology

■   Ability to think “outside the box”, identify opportunities for process improvement/consolidation as well as the ability to effectively educate co-workers

■   3-5 years interaction with QA testing tools and methodologies

■   2-3 years SQL experience MSSQL, Oracle

■   Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects/people in a matrix environment

■   Ability to engage effectively in written and spoken communications with clients (primarily internal) and vendors. 

■   Ability to respond diplomatically in challenging interpersonal situations regarding support issues

■   Ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience as well as to be able to gather enough technical detail (and train staff to gather enough technical detail) to ensure that senior technicians have appropriate data to diagnose and resolve issues escalated to them

■   Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service with associate experience in a fast paced environment
