Function: Business administrator will serve in a critical/high level support role to the Corps Officers by overseeing all fundraising, development, long range planning, advisory council, overseeing operations and personnel. Will supervise indirect meetings, program and events as directed.
ResponsibilitiesOverview:
Coordinates all aspects of the Northern Kentucky Corps with advisory council, staff regional and territorial leadership and various professional consultants under the director of the Corps Officers and including:
Program Design and development with various agencies and community leadersBudgetary oversightAdministrative and fiscal responsibilities in the absence of Corps Officers Qualifications Supervisory experienceAssociates degree or 3 years of administrative experience requiredAble to multi-task and meet hard deadlinesAble to work in a team environment Must pass tuberculin skin testMust pass child abuse/neglect screeningMust pass criminal records screeningMust be 21 years of ageMust have a valid driver's license and be able to drive 12 passenger vanMust be safety consciousMust be able to read, writer and communicate clearly in EnglishMust have the ability to work and relate well with individuals who possess varying needs.Must be able to handle difficult situation/confrontations in a professional mannerMust have an understanding of and appreciation for the mission of The Salvation Army.
