Business Advisor Solution Delivery Managed Care

The Vistex Managed Care Business Advisor is accountable to provide business process consulting services to pharmaceutical companies in the Managed Care Rebates arena.  This could include guiding customers on leading business practices, sharing current and upcoming regulatory requirements, analyzing results of rebate calculations, and ensuring timely and accurate payments for Strategic and non-strategic customers for Commercial Medicare Part D.

The Managed Care Business Advisor is a subject matter expert in this area. Our customers' operations teams may query the advisor and receive advice and guidance with questions related to their area of expertise, commonly as part of a project implementation or during the operations business cutover to new solutions.

Responsibilities: 

The Managed Care Rebate Analyst must interpret contract language and input and maintain plans, products, Formularies, and rebate programs in the Vistex solution. The position must have a thorough understanding of PBM networks and contractual verbiage as stated in assigned account agreements. Aids in the delivery of key information in support of rebate forecasting, contract performance assessment, and financial and government reporting. Assists in defining validations and provides validation analysis to assist in resolving disputes with accounts involving contract interpretation or processing issues and engages other teams as needed. Helps in the development of rebate forecasting. Inputs, reviews, validates, processes, and analyzes rebate payment workflow to determine fi best practices are followed. and meet conditions stated in the contractual agreements. Assists with implementing enhancements for data validation and rebate systems. Stay updated on the latest laws and regulations related to managed care compliance and inform the company and clients of any changes. Serve as a subject matter expert on managed care compliance regulations and provide guidance and support to clients. The compensation for this position is $140k to $160k annually.  Base pay will vary depending on factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s location, job-related knowledge, skills and work experience.
