Campus/Location:North Campus;Hybrid model (a mix of home and in-office workdays)
Salary:$95,910.00;starting salaries are determined based on qualifications and years of related experience.

About the Business Analyst- Communication Specialist Role:

Under the direction of the Enterprise Applications Business Operations Lead, the Business Analyst plays a crucial role in assisting the College in implementing enterprise technology solutions. The Communications Business Analyst serves as a critical bridge between senior leadership and the organization, ensuring data-driven insights shape executive messaging and strategies. This role combines expertise in business analysis, strategic thinking, and communication to craft impactful executive communications that resonate with diverse stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, exceptional writing skills, and the ability to translate complex business data into clear, compelling narratives.

Business Analysis for Executive MessagingGather, analyze, and interpret business data to inform and enhance executive communications strategiesProvide insights and recommendations on organizational trends, business performance, and employee engagement to shape leadership messagingDevelop dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to leadership communication initiativesExecutive Communications SupportCollaborate with senior executives to craft data-driven presentations, and written communications that align with business goalsTranslate complex business concepts and performance metrics into concise, impactful messages Strategic Communication PlanningWork with cross-functional teams to identify key business priorities and align executive communications with organizational goalsAssist in the development of long-term communication strategies, incorporating business insights to enhance message effectivenessMonitor industry trends and competitor activity to provide insights that strengthen leadership communication strategiesMeasurement and InsightsAnalyze the effectiveness of executive communications by tracking audience engagement and feedbackUse data to continuously improve communication strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and employee expectations

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Data Analytics, or a related field

Experience/Skills

5-7 years of experience in business analysis, internal communications, or a related role Experience working with senior leaders in a corporate or enterprise environment is preferred

Skills sought in a successful candidate include:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and visualize data for non-technical audiences Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, or Power BI Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, for creating executive presentations Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Experience with data storytelling and visualization techniques Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality Ability to work collaboratively across teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders Highly adaptable and comfortable working under tight deadlines Strong business acumen and understanding of organizational priorities
