Business Analyst, Corporate Systems

The Business Analyst, Corporate Systems role is responsible for supporting the evolving needs of the Company’s Finance & HR organizations. In this role you will provide day to day support, as well as be a key partner in providing recommendations for automation and implementing process improvement opportunities.

Responsibilities

Work with Finance, HR and cross functional teams to understand business requirements and drive them to successful completion Provide day to day applications support to Finance, HR and other teams as needed  Serves as the primary point of contact with vendors as it relates to the support day to day business functions as well as current projects Plan, prioritize and manage enhancements/projects on roadmap ensuring successful end user experience Work with technical teams to translate requirements and deliver system solutions covering all facets of testing Configure systems based on business requirements and design and develop custom reports for finance and HR users as required Build influential working relationships with business users for successful partnerships

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience as a business analyst in IT At least 3 years of experience implementing, enhancing, supporting and/or upgrading ERP systems such as NetSuite, Dynamics 365 or Great Plains Ability to understand business processes and its relationship to integration points and its interdependencies Working knowledge of Software Development and Project Life Cycles to help support projects through its various phases Organized, motivated functional analyst with ability to take ownership of projects, manage deadlines, and drive to completion Naturally curious, Fast learner, detail oriented, strong analysis and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills (in person, phone and email) Understanding of Finance and Accounting processes is highly preferred Working experience of Sales Audit (Aptos) or a similar Financial System is strongly preferred Retail/Apparel experience preferred SQL experience is preferred Working experience in a HR System is a plus Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Accounting, Finance or related field or equivalent experience

Physical/Environmental Demands and Overtime & Availability:

Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Must have the ability to walk short distances. Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a small amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion. Adequate movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Team members are required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
