Amazon.com
Amazon Devices Postponement Operations (DPO) team is seeking a Leader to drive our expanding postponement (late-stage product differentiation and configuration) operations. This person will help our team rapidly grow our business. If you’re ready to help us scale multiple programs across regions and you love to dive deeply into business case studies, this is the role for you
Key job responsibilities
As the Business Analyst (BA), you will determine new program business feasibility and new regions for DPO, including all aspects of fixed and variable costs, and estimated net contribution for each program. You will support and help drive operations and production strategy discussions and documentation. Your role is both strategic and hands-on. It requires an individual with excellent analytical capabilities, outstanding business acumen and the ability to work with cross functional business teams. As such, you will examine and provide insights and drivers to ultimately support DPO roadmap decisions. The successful candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, and an ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. You will meet with cross-functional, operations experts to analyze and document estimated costs and benefits that feed into the strategy and vision necessary to bring-up and sustain postponement-related capabilities. You are comfortable digging into business financials and drilling into internal operational process details. You have a demonstrated track record and experience dealing with large and complex program launches, and you are passionate about the customer experience. You value driving collaboration, making data-driven decisions, and comfortably communicating with others, in both technical and non-technical fields.
