The Business Analyst, Product Planning is responsible for delivering business critical insights and driving optimization within the product team with a focus on merchandise planning and product development. This role ensures access to information through reporting, analytics and clear communication. By providing accurate, timely contributions, this person is a trusted partner on the product team.
JOB EXPECTATIONS
Own all regularly product planning reports and provide insight on observed changes in business Develop and own roadmap for data and analytics needs, planning for current and future needs Collaborate with the cross functional team to provide analytical support and respond to ad hoc requests for information Deliver high quality analysis built on business acumen, and relevant analytical / statistical techniques Provide creative solutions to problems by leveraging available data and tools Build and maintain a “one source of the truth” set of analytical models/tables to ensure cohesive supply chain data Ensure integrity and accuracy of all product data, escalating to appropriate resources when appropriate Coach and train team members and communicate highly complex and dynamic information in new and creative ways Continuously learn and apply new technologies, tools, and techniques Other job duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Administration, Merchandising, Marketing, Economics, Finance, Statistics or a related field 2+ years of relevant experience Experience in data analysis and visualization tools such as SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or similar Strong analytical skills and an active problem solver Strong communication and presentation skills Demonstrated attention to detail Experience in a merchandising or planning function
