Business Analyst, Real Estate Secured Lending (RESL) Strategy - Summer 2025

Your responsibilities will include establishing, implementing, and maintaining ongoing business processes to ensure alignment with our strategic goals. In addition, you will create and facilitate internal communications, such as leadership reports, strategy documents, town halls, and executive meetings presentations, in support of the Senior Directors, VP, and the overall business unit. _At CIBC we enable the work environment most_ _optimal_ _for you to thrive in your role. Maintains a coordinating role for the leadership team regarding critical meetings and events. + **Strategic Communication –** Demonstrates well-developed written and verbal communication skills, including with senior leadership. Ability to produce a variety of business documents that adhere to best practices in strategic communication, ensuring clarity, coherence, and alignment with organizational goals. Capable of articulating both factual and conceptual information that requires detailed explanation or interpretation with effective storytelling. Skilled in simplifying complex concepts into easy-to-understand formats that resonate with an executive audience, facilitating informed decision-making. + **Cross Functional Relationships –** Interacts and collaborates regularly, as a critical function, with Personal lending leadership team and their representatives. Develops and leverages the relationships, and uses considerable influence to achieve outcomes, while improving cross-group relationships. Interacts regularly with various internal LOBs and departments to accomplish administrative or coordination tasks, and with other advisory or support units when matters arise that require their involvement. + **Communication –**  Well developed written & verbal communication skills, including with senior leadership.  Ability to produce aariety of business documents with clarity of thought and orderliness of presentation.  Ability to articulate factual and conceptual information which require detailed explanation or interpretation.  + **Relationship Management –** Comfortable with reaching out to others across the bank to find answers quickly.  Making and maintaining connections across the bank eeffectively.  Communicating with ease when coordinating complex events with partners from various groups, and with senior leadership. + **A** **nalytical Skills** **–** Possesses analytical abilities (proficiency in Excel is a strong asset) to conduct data analysis and track business performance metrics. Capable of interpreting data sets, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to inform strategic decision-making.
