The Business Analyst will work within the Sales Operations organization to support both internal and external stakeholders of the sales process. The primary focus of this role is to understand the strategies of Greenway’s revenue generating operations and translate raw data into valuable business insights to achieve those objectives. Serve as a source of knowledge within the Sales organization to address the day-to-day needs of Account Executives. Support the definition of company-wide metrics and identify the required data sources that improve the outcomes and help drive to desired results. Model dashboards to track benchmarks set by Sales leadership and validate data accuracy throughout the sales process.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
+ Work with all areas of the business that influence or are affected by the Quote to Close sales process including Sales Leadership, Sales Operations, Finance, Legal, Professional Services and other departments as needed.
+ Understands business needs and objectives, implements and oversees the analytical approaches and methodologies.
+ Related Process and Technologies include Salesforce.com, Oracle CPQ, and SalesLoft. The Analyst may not own the technology, system or process but is expected to work with those owners to drive the agenda that supports the sales organization.
+ Identify strategies for effective data analysis and reporting.
+ Oversee all analytic operations to correct discrepancies and ensure quality.
+ Provide updates to Sales Dashboards and Reports as needed.
Experience and Education
+ Bachelor's Degree in Business or other data related field
+ Two (2) to four (4) years of Financial Analysis or other relevant Technical/Analytical experience preferred
+ Detail-oriented with experience in data analysis and reporting.
+ Experience working with and understanding the needs of a geographically dispersed sales organization preferred
+ Strong familiarity with standardized data processes and reporting fields.
+ High proficiency with Microsoft Excel among other Office applications.
+ Must be located in the Eastern to Central Time Zones in the United States
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
+ Proficiency or commitment to developing proficiency in data modeling, planning and database management.
+ Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, internal and external customers in a professional manner and the ability to interact with all levels within the organization.
+ Strong follow-up and follow through skills with the ability to multitask on various projects with attention to details and accuracy.
+ Ability to listen, empathize and demonstrate a high level of care and concern with a focus on solutions and results.
+ Ability to work with all levels of management.
+ A positive attitude and flexible approach demonstrating the ability to work well within and across internal teams of operations, finance and marketing.
Work Environment/Physical Demands
+ This position is primarily sedentary and requires the associate to be seated for the majority of the workday.
+ The role involves sitting and regularly typing on a keyboard for extended periods.
+ Requires the ability to observe a computer screen for long durations, including reviewing personal and others’ work as well as incoming and outgoing communications via computer and mobile devices.
+ Must be able to work remotely, manage workload efficiently, prioritize projects with minimal supervision, and maintain a quiet setting while interacting with customers.
+ The role necessitates clear listening and speaking abilities for effective communication with customers and colleagues.
+ This position may require up to 20% travel.
